Charles is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Associate. He graduated from an accredited MSW program at Appalachian State University University in 2020. Charles is trained in EMDR and Internal Family Systems.

Charles is a married father of three, who worked his way all the way through college as a single-father beginning in 2013. Charles is a Navy Veteran and completed two tours of service—including one deployment to Afghanistan in 2010. Charles began his clinical experience in addictions counseling in 2019; however, has served the Catawba, Burke, and Caldwell communities in other related capacities since 2017. He grew a successful bailbonds business. From there, realized helping those suffering from mental illness and substance use was his true passion. Charles has volunteered with various homeless organizations and provided countless hours of no-cost therapy to the indigent people of Catawba, Burke, and Caldwell counties.  

Charles is also working towards becoming fluent in ASL He has been described as a person that believes there is hidden talent and resilience in everyone!
