Cathy Pasour spent the last twelve years working as an in-home counselor with families in crisis in Burke, Catawba, and Caldwell Counties.  Prior to that, Cathy served as a substance abuse counselor in both outpatient and inpatient treatment facilities in Gaston and Mecklenburg counties.  

Since May 2009, she has held a Masters Degree in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte, N.C.  Cathy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) and a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist.  She is also a certified Prepare/Enrich Counselor, a six-week program designed for couples preparing for marriage or for married couples seeking to enrich their marriage.   She currently holds memberships in the American Association of Christian Counselors and the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.  

Cathy’s passion is to serve God through a ministry of counseling.  She enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group therapy.  She has experience working with people of all ages who are facing a multitude of psychological, emotional, and spiritual issues.  Special areas of competence include: Addictions, Parenting, Grief Counseling, Domestic Violence, Trauma, Pre-Marital and Marital Issues.  Cathy loves spending time with her husband, two children, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
